The first container train to China and Vietnam was cleared by Chelyabinsk customs officers

The first shuttle with Chelyabinsk export products for China and Vietnam has arrived at the Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port. Chelyabinsk customs officers carried out customs control over 150 standard containers with agricultural products and electrical insulators manufactured at the region’s enterprises. The train was formed using the infrastructure of the Formachevo station of the Yuzhnouralsky transportation and logistics complex.

“As part of the prospective development of routes along international transportation corridors, the main purpose of which is to serve Russia’s foreign trade with the countries of Transcaucasia, the Caspian region, Iran, South Asian states, the Persian Gulf and China, customs authorities carry out control in the shortest possible time. For this purpose the transport and logistics complex “Yuzhnouralsky” has all the necessary infrastructure, including the possibility of placing customs officials on the territory of the TLC”, – emphasized the head of the Chelyabinsk customs Mikhail Ponomarev

In 2023, Chelyabinsk customs officers conducted customs operations and sent 6 container trains to Iran and Saudi Arabia. In turn, officials exercised customs control over 79 imported commodity shipments. South Urals entrepreneurs purchased packaging film, tires, pulleys and rubber hoses from abroad
