Sanitary and hygienic goods were donated to the Children’s City Hospital by the Nakhodka Customs Service

Washing powder, wipes, diapers and other sanitary and hygienic goods were handed over by Nakhodka customs officers to the Children’s City Hospital of Nakhodka.
The goods were imported to the port of Olga from Japan with violation of customs rules. During customs inspection of crew members’ cabins  employees of the Olga customs post of the Nakhodka customs office found a large amount of foreign-made goods. The total weight of the goods imported by the crew members exceeded the established norm of duty-free import – 31 kg. The goods were not declared.
Nakhodkinsk customs initiated administrative offenses against the crew members, and the goods were seized.
By the rulings of the Nakhodka City Court, the crew members were found guilty of administrative offenses, and they were sentenced to confiscation of goods.
Since the goods returned to federal property correspond to the list of goods for donation to social institutions, the customs officers checked their quality and safety and, by order of the Federal Customs Service, handed them over to the Nakhodka City Children’s Hospital;
