Smuggling of consumer goods by almost 6 million rubles stopped the Ussuri customs
The smuggling of consumer goods worth 5.9 million rubles and weighing more than 1.5 tonnes prevented Ussuri customs. The illegal load was detained in the Ussuriysk customs office when trying to import from China.
During the inspection of trucks in the coastal checkpoint on the border with China, the customs officers found that missing part of the goods specified in the Declaration, and also revealed undeclared goods. Among the latter: soft toys, manicure utensils, crockery, household appliances, textile goods, bags, stationery, jewelry and more.
As told the acting chief of the Ussuri customs Alexey Kuzmin, the Declaration of goods submitted by the importing company from Vladivostok. On the fact of not declaring goods in relation to the company of the Ussuri customs instituted administrative proceedings. The company faces a fine from one-half to two times the value of the goods from possible confiscation.
Undeclared goods seized and placed in temporary storage. The investigation is being conducted.
