1.06 trillion rubles of customs and other payments paid by participants of foreign economic activity have been transferred to the state budget by customs officers of the Far East. The planned task was fulfilled by 104%. Almost 43 billion rubles were transferred to the budget above the plan

Compared to 2022, the amount of transferred funds increased by more than a third. This is due to the reorientation of logistics flows to the East, the intensification of foreign economic activity in the Far East region and the growth of the dollar exchange rate. In 2023, cargo traffic increased by 6.9% year-on-year, imports increased by 10%, and exports grew by 3.5%.

In 2023, the two electronic declaration centers (EDCs) of the Far East region processed 14% more declarations than a year earlier – 597 thousand declarations. Of these, almost 502 thousand declarations were processed by the Vladivostok EDC, which accepts declarations for goods transported by sea.
