So, in cooperation with the tax authorities conducted a cameral customs inspection in relation to one of the largest taxpayers in the region. Customs officers found that the company claimed false information on the structure of the customs value of goods. In this case, the tax scheme revealed an artificial increase in the cost of services rendered for transportation of goods through a chain of fictitious entities. the results of verification by the judicial authorities confirmed the legality of decisions of customs officers, the audited entity paid more than 8 million rubles. Tax authorities refused to refund VAT for the sum more than 10 million roubles.
Just 2019, the customs authorities in cooperation with the tax authorities recovered more than 90 million rubles. Initiated 80 cases of administrative offences.
“We want to optimize the number of verification activities in respect of traders, in order to minimize the administrative burden on business. To do this, we will continue active cooperation with the tax authorities and improvement of their analytical activities of customs authorities”, – said Mikhail Ponomarev, Deputy head of the Ural customs office – the chief of service.
