Employees of mobile groups of Chelyabinsk customs for 11 months of 2023 seized from illegal circulation more than 14 thousand units of counterfeit products. For the most part, these are clothes of well-known brands, car parts and accessories for smartphones. The prevented damage to the owners of trademarks is estimated at almost 13 million rubles. In addition, customs officers prevented the import of 20,000 packs of cigarettes without excise stamps and 400,000 heating tobacco sticks (sticks) without labeling.
One of the major detentions of 2023 was the prevention of importation from Kazakhstan of a vehicle with a batch of counterfeit clothing in the amount of about 10 thousand units.
«In addition, in the domestic market in cooperation with other law enforcement and supervisory authorities Chelyabinsk customs officers identified violations worth about half a million rubles. The bulk of illegal products – are consumer goods», – comments deputy head of Chelyabinsk customs Stanislav Vasyov.
In total, this year mobile groups of customs checked 67 thousand vehicles with goods with a total weight of 1 million tons.
