Chelyabinsk customs officers discussed the problems of economic security and customs regulations
The employees of Chelyabinsk customs took part in the V international scientific-practical conference, organized by the Department of “Customs” and “Economic security” of South Ural state University. The event was devoted to the problems of economic security and customs regulations.
The conference brought together researchers not only from Russia, but also abroad. It was attended by speakers from Chicago, Minsk, Almaty, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Perm, Smolensk, Saratov, Ryazan and Yekaterinburg.
Report “Organization of customs control in the customs status of actual control. Change the functions in the new conditions” was made by first Deputy head of customs Edward Turanov. He summed up the results of work of the Chelyabinsk customs as customs actual control and outlined promising directions of development of customs authorities.
Deputy head of the Chelyabinsk customs office and a representative of the Youth Council of customs Alexander Smekalin presented to the participants of the conference a report on the topical issues of movement of goods for personal use in international mail. He drew attention to the need for actualization of the normative-legal base regulating this area, and the actuality of implementation of electronic interaction of customs authorities with individuals.
“The first year we partnered with the Department of “Customs business” and the conference is a great platform to exchange ideas and experiences. In addition, we are interested in competent, active and young professionals able to work in a dynamic system. Now 22% of our personnel are yesterday’s graduates of the universities and such events help to make the right choice for students, and the customs,” – said the Turanov.
