The inhabitant of Abakan has illegally imported a melee weapon

International air border crossing point Abakan Khakas customs elicited the fact of illegal importation into the customs territory of the Eurasian economic Union (EEU) suriken. Edged weapons seized, the offender faces an administrative fine of up to 2 500 rubles.

The Luggage arrived from Thailand tourist officials Abakan customs office during the customs control found a piece of metal gray, made in the form shuriken. This product was sent for examination. According to the conclusion of the customs expert this item refers to the throwing melee weapons piercing-cutting action.

Concerning the inhabitant of Abakan initiated a case on administrative offense under article 16.3 of the Code of the Russian Federation on administrative violations (violation of the prohibitions and (or) restrictions on import of goods into the customs territory of the EAEU or to the Russian Federation and (or) export of goods from the customs territory of the EAEU or from the Russian Federation).

– All tourists once again I want to remind you, – said the head of Abakan customs office Oleg Pisanov – that suriken are the items prohibited for import into the customs territory of the Eurasian economic Union. In addition, their turnover in the territory of the Russian Federation pursuant to paragraph 1 of article 6 of the Federal law of 13 December 1996 № 150-FZ “About the weapon” are prohibited.
