Krasnoyarsk customs officers have stopped the sale of more than 3 thousand packs of cigarettes, tobacco and electronic nicotine delivery systems without mandatory labeling

Customs officers detected illegal products worth over 500 thousand rubles in one of the stores of the Central District of Krasnoyarsk as part of control over import and turnover of goods in the domestic market

The counters of the retail outlet contained 3,090 packs of Russian-made cigarettes, as well as 200 disposable electronic nicotine delivery systems and 95 packs of hookah tobacco produced in China without DataMatrix-code labeling.

The products were not labeled with DataMatrix code

The products have been withdrawn from illegal circulation, and the entrepreneur is being investigated

Reminder, in 2023 Krasnoyarsk customs officers identified 54 thousand unlabeled goods, almost 90% of them were tobacco and nicotine-containing products

The labeling of goods indicates that they have undergone all the procedures for assessing compliance with the EAEU technical regulations. Using the Honest Mark mobile app, customers can scan the DataMatrix code and read detailed information about the products.
