Seized from illegal trafficking more than 500 grams of drugs, more than 6 kilograms of potent substances.

Also OBCN of WOT oversees the work in the region of the southern customs Directorate. Over the past period 2020 Astrakhan custom 4 criminal case under article 229.1 of the criminal code, 1 criminal case under article 226.1 of the criminal code, seized from illegal turnover 90,301 grams of narcotic drugs, 464 grams of drugs. Novorossiysk customs 2 criminal case under article 229.1 of the criminal code, 5 criminal cases under article 226.1 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation, other bodies brought 1 criminal case under article 226.1 of the criminal code. Withdrawn from illegal circulation 123,9 grams of drugs, 228,81 grams of hard substances. The rest of the region’s customs initiated 13 criminal cases, seized from illegal turnover of more than 218 grams of drugs, 2.9 kg of drugs.

Analysis of the situation in the South of Russia shows that over the past period of the current year the movement of narcotic drugs and potent substances on the territory of the Russian Federation was carried out through international mail. So, one of the largest arrests of controlled substances is a detention in the city of Rostov-on-don, employees of Department on struggle against contraband of drugs of southern operative customs with the force providing SOBR southern operative customs.
