Novosibirets became a defendant in a criminal case for the order of the cocaine in the mail

Hard drugs 30-the summer inhabitant of Novosibirsk have received in the parcel from Belgium to a post office of the Kirov district. The Siberian operational customs initiated a criminal case.

Threat the contents of international mail was discovered and seized from illicit trafficking in a course quickly-search actions spent by employees of the Siberian operative customs with the assistance of the security service of Mail of Russia in Novosibirsk.

According to the judgment in international mail contained a narcotic drug – cocaine, a total weight of about 345 grams.

It is established that the drugs man ordered for subsequent sale on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The Siberian operational customs initiated a criminal case under part 3 of the article 229.1 of the criminal code – contraband of drugs in large size. The article prescribes punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term up to 20 years.

Only in 2020, MTof amoni Siberia has opened 20 criminal cases on the facts of contraband of narcotics and dangerous drugs (article 226.1 and 229.1 of the criminal code). The total mass of illicit substances seized in criminal cases amounted to more than ten pounds. In all criminal cases the customs of the region was carried out urgent investigative actions, after which criminal proceedings were transferred to the preliminary investigation bodies for further investigation.
