Siberian customs Department will explain how to make a complaint

From 15 to 16 June this year, the Siberian customs office (STU) will carry out the action “On what complain?”. This year, in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection of this event will be held remotely.

During the campaign the officers of STU over the phone will clarify the procedure for appealing against decisions, actions (inaction) of customs and the mechanism of obtaining information on the reasons for the decision, perfect action (inaction), stipulated by article 265 of the Federal law from 03.08.2018 year No. 289-FZ “On customs regulation in the Russian Federation and on amendments to certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation”, and also provided consultative assistance in preparation of complaints to decisions, actions (inaction) of officials of the staff of STU and its subordinate customs authorities.

As noted by the head of Department of control over observance of legality in the field of customs Affairs STU Nikolay Dorofeyev: “the Purpose of this event is to help the conscientious foreign economic activity participants and individuals to understand the correct application of them and the officials of the customs bodies of the provisions of the law of the Eurasian economic Union and the Russian Federation legislation on customs regulation, as well as to defend their rights and legitimate interests with minimal time and financial costs.”
