In the first 11 months of 2023, the customs control units after the release of goods of Rostov Customs conducted 175 inspection activities. According to their results, additional customs payments, penalties and fines amounted to 387.5 million rubles. The budget efficiency of one inspection amounted to 15.5 million rubles, which is 9 % higher than in 2022. 150 cases of administrative offenses and 14 criminal cases were initiated, which also exceeds the values of the same period of 2022.
The subdivision of control over import and turnover of goods on the domestic market carried out 129 inspection activities. As a result, more than 121 thousand units of tobacco products (cigarettes) without excise stamps, more than 8 thousand units of counterfeit or counterfeit products, 482.5 kg of sanctioned products were detected. The total value of confiscated goods according to the results of the inspection measures amounted to more than 31 million rubles.
