Novosibirsk customs has joined the campaign “the memory Garden” in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Victory
Ten seedlings of pine trees planted near the building of the Novosibirsk customs on 28 April 2020, customs inspectors in memory of those killed during the great Patriotic war.
The event was held in the framework of the Patriotic action “memory Garden”, the purpose of which it is planned to create a living monument, planting 27 million trees – the death toll in the war years people.
The work was carried out in compliance with all precautions in the spread of coronavirus infection and compliance with recommendations for the work regime.
“This tree I planted in honor of my grandfather, Vasily Mikhailovich Amelchakov. He was drafted into the red Army in March 1942 and sent to the front as the platoon commander of the mortar company commander in the rank of second Lieutenant. He participated in the battles for Belarus, Voronezh, Ukrainian fronts. Awarded the order the red Star.
