Ussuriysk customs: 110 vehicles came under suspicion after inspection non-Intrusive inspection systems
In the 1st quarter of 2020 Ussuri customs held 3637 inspections of vehicles using non-Intrusive inspection systems (IDK). As a result of 110 vehicles came under suspicion.
95 set of failure to the customs body of information, or providing false information about transported goods and vehicles. On the revealed violations was filed 66 cases of administrative offences.
As a result of customs inspections with the use of the IIR was discovered undeclared goods: 70 000 medical masks when exported from Russia, 3758 kg of food, 2065 kg of fruits and vegetables, 71 liter of alcoholic beverages, 1200 kg of consumer goods, 1000 kg of water and biological resources.
As told the head of Department of use of vehicle inspection stations Ussuri customs Grigory Romanenko, the use of IIR at a customs post MAPP Border, DAPP Poltavka and in the Khasan customs office along with the application of the risk management system, reduces the time spent for the customs procedure at the checkpoint to 3-5 minutes. On an average day at the checkpoint, the Border checkpoint is inspected with the use of MIS for about 38 vehicles for DAPP Poltavka 32 vehicles to the Khasan customs office 20 vehicles.

Inspection systems allow for the minimum time without opening and unloading a cargo vehicle to obtain its image and the image of the transported goods with the characteristics, allowing to identify the goods, to detect items prohibited for carriage, and conduct an indicative estimate of the amount of goods transported.
