More than a ton of “sanctions” of apples and grapes was found by the staff of the Ekaterinburg customs at one of the warehouses
Employees Yekaterinburg customs cooperation with the Rosselkhoznadzor revealed in one of the warehouses almost 1.5 tons of apples and more than 300 pounds of grapes. Documents confirming the country of origin of fruits and berries, the owner of the goods is not provided.

In 2019, the employees Yekaterinburg customs have carried out 6 inspections and identified a total of 4.5 tons of prohibited import products – meat, fruits and vegetables. In comparison with last year the figures decreased by 7 times.
“In the domestic market are less likely to appear the products of the so-called sanctions list. Entrepreneurs understand that regulatory authorities take measures effective. The prohibited products threatens both material and reputational losses,” – said Mikhail Ponomarev, Deputy head of the Ural customs office – the chief of service.
