Krasnodar Customs summarized preliminary results
The summarization was attended by the Deputy Head of the Southern Customs Department – Head of the Federal Customs Revenue Service Sergei Rudov, representatives of law enforcement agencies of the region, as well as the management and staff of the customs.
In his speech, the head of Krasnodar customs Natalia Polosokhina noted: «The operational situation in the region of the customs is characterized by dynamic changes and strengthening of logistics chains on all types of transport. In 2023, the functioning of the customs in the status of actual control in the conditions of sanctions pressure of unfriendly countries shows an increase in trade turnover».
For 11 months of 2023 Krasnodar Customs transferred more than 17 billion rubles to the federal budget.
At the end of the year, the customs achieved significant results in law enforcement. For 11 months, the customs initiated 3 796 cases of administrative offenses and 59 criminal cases. Administrative penalties totaling 26 million rubles were imposed.
This year, record performance in terms of the number of individuals and vehicles processed at the customs checkpoints of the Adler IACP, Sochi Airport and the Adler Railway Checkpoint was recorded. Almost 14 million individuals passed through the checkpoints, over 2.7 million vehicles (trucks, cars, passenger buses), 12.7 thousand aircraft, 50 thousand railway trains, 8 thousand sea vessels were cleared.
In the coming year, the activities of the customs staff will be aimed at implementing the action plan for the period of 2023-2024 to implement the Strategy for the Development of the Customs Service of the Russian Federation until 2030, ensuring the national security of the Russian Federation and achieving a high quality of customs administration;
