Ruslan Davydov, Acting Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, held a meeting to discuss the operational and service activities of the customs authorities of the North-West Customs Directorate.

He also analyzed the activities in the areas of risk management system, post-control and federal customs revenues.
As of December 25, the customs authorities of the North-West Customs Directorate from the beginning of 2023, collected customs and other payments to the federal budget of the Russian Federation in the amount of 513 billion 346 million rubles, the planned task for the year has been fulfilled.
The Acting Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia noted the work of the law enforcement block of the region, which made it possible to block smuggling channels of drug supplies and detain criminals. Over 2 tons of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances were seized, including 409.5 kg of cocaine and 1 ton 651 kg of hashish.
Ruslan Davydov positively assessed the work of the North-West customs officers in the conditions of external sanctions pressure and set the tasks necessary to fulfill the established performance indicators for 2024;
