On the eve of International customs day, January 23 was held the press-tea leadership of Tula customs and representatives of regional media.
During the meeting the head of the customs Maksim Velikanov told about results of activity in 2019, noting the growth of customs payments transferred to the state revenue, and the increase in the number of participants of foreign economic activity and the Declaration of the array.
– In 2019 Tula customs for the first time has topped 20 billion rubles by transfer of income to the Federal budget customs payments increased by 19 per cent – said Maxim Giants. – At customs posts in the region of Tula customs in the Tula and Ryazan regions released 70789 declarations for goods, the growth, the Declaration of the array was 9 percent.
Maxim Velikanov elaborated in the upcoming near future changes:
– Since 5 February this year, the Tula customs will continue to work as a customs actual control. The main activity will be associated with the operations that require direct contact with the goods, means of transport or work with documents on paper. We will continue the transactions in respect of residents of Special economic zone “Hub”, as well as goods placed under customs modes of processing and temporary import. The Tula and Ryazan is an export — oriented regions 29 and 30 January we will hold a large meeting with participants of foreign economic activity of the two regions to clarify all practical issues, — said the head of customs.
Special attention participants paid to the rules of movement of goods in international mail, the identification of “sanctions” and counterfeit products in retail outlets in the region, law enforcement.
Maxim Velikanov thanked Tula media for the fruitful collaboration, operational awareness and objective coverage of the activities of the Tula customs. Maxim Velikanov handed gratitude to the representatives of regional media, which provided active informational support of activity of customs in 2019. Journalists also visited the Tula customs post, where they learned how to make customs operations, the completion of customs transit procedure and is carried out radiation control of imported goods.
