January 26, the international day of customs officer and hence the reason for summing up the mutual cooperation of customs services around the world. International cooperation in the field of customs involves the development of legal, technical and administrative framework for the simplification of customs procedures.
The celebration of the International day of customs officer traditionally serves as the occasion for a review of some results of activities and the Krasnodar customs.
– Today Krasnodar customs is one of the largest customs offices in the South of Russia, covers 95% of the territory of Krasnodar region and the Republic of Adygea, – said acting head of the Krasnodar customs office Vyacheslav Chinese.
The quality and smooth operation provide seven customs posts and a customs team has about 780 people. In the region of customs activities are of Yeisk, Temryuk, Tuapse sea ports, and sea ports of Kavkaz and Taman. The total length of the Maritime border is 480 kilometers.
In 2019, the Federal budget lists over 26 billion rubles, more than 53 thousand goods declarations, the customs operations were performed in respect of 12.8 million tons of foreign cargo with a value of over 5 billion US dollars.
Law enforcement Krasnodar customs aimed at the suppression of crimes and administrative offences in the sphere of customs business, on increase of level of economic safety of the state, given the current operational situation in the region of activity of customs.
The outcomes of operations in 2019, the law enforcement unit of the Krasnodar customs is recognized as “the Best law enforcement unit” within the customs of the southern customs Department, “the Best investigator” was the chief of Department of inquiry of customs. In 2019, the Krasnodar customs office filed 29 criminal cases, or 93.3 per cent more than in 2018 (15 criminal cases), seized more than 1.3 kg of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, potent and poisonous substances in the amount more than 0.4 kg, cash in the amount of more than 6,8 million rubles. Last year customs brought 3212 cases of administrative offences.
