Employees of Smolensk customs and regional management of FSB have stopped the illegal import of Belarusian cigarettes
283500 packs of tobacco products eleven items were moved in a truck equipped with caches.
The car was detained by Smolensk customs officers in cooperation with employees UFSB of Russia across the Smolensk region, on 23 July, 2020 in the area of the settlement Kruglova rudnyansky district of Smolensk region.
According to the driver documentation (CMR and invoice) in the cargo compartment of the vehicle from the territory of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation transported goods – “formwork for concrete treated with preservative”. The carrier of this cargo is the individual businessman from Gomel. The recipient of the product indicated the Moscow firm, and the place of unloading – Veliky Novgorod.
“In the course of customs inspection it is established that in the form there are hidden cavities in the form of wooden boxes which are in bulk cartons with the Belarusian tobacco products without excise stamps of the Russian”, – said acting Deputy head of the Smolensk customs Alexander Seals.
At present, the Smolensk customs prepare documents to transfer vehicle load to the police for further checking and action.
