Bryansk customs officers intercepted the importation of tons of tiger nuts

At the location of the stationary control point weighting “Red Stone” (near the town of Novozybkov of the Bryansk region) customs officers had stopped a truck carrying a ton of tiger nuts.

The Belarusian carrier had to deliver your cargo from Brest to Moscow, in the shipping documents means that the country of origin of nuts from Spain.

Spain is among the countries, from which importation of certain goods on the territory of Russia is prohibited within the response to the imposition of sanctions, so the nuts are withdrawn, – said the head of the Department for control over the importation and trafficking of goods Vladyslav Barabanov. – The question of the involvement of the carrier – offender to administrative responsibility under article 16.3 of the administrative code (violation of the prohibitions and restrictions when importing goods). He faces a fine from fifty to three hundred thousand rubles.
