From the beginning of 2020 Altai customs opened 6 cases of administrative offenses under part 1 of article 16.18 of the Russian code of administrative offences (Cao RF).
Affairs about administrative offences (up) were instituted against citizens of Mongolia and Germany on the facts of violation of the term of temporary import of vehicles. Citizens were arriving from Mongolia and Estonia to the Russian Federation on the cars, which were decorated as temporarily imported, for which the time of stay on the territory of the Eurasian economic Union (EAEU) without payment of customs payments for the purpose of their further export. However, the deadlines of the vehicle was not removed from the territory of the EEU. The amount of payable customs payments on these vehicles amounted to more than 1 million.
The sanction of part 1 of article 16.18 of the administrative code provides for the imposition on the citizens of the administrative penalty with confiscation of vehicles, which are the subjects of an administrative offence or without that. Before making a decision in the case of AP such vehicle removed in accordance with article 27.10 of the administrative code.
