Foreign trade turnover for January – June 2020 amounted to 7.2 billion. USA. Compared to the same period last year, the value of the foreign trade turnover decreased by 22%, the volume weight decreased by 55.7%.
The weight volume of external trade turnover in the region of the UTU in the 1st half of 2020 amounted to 5.6 million tons. In foreign countries had 78.2% of the total weight volume (4.4 million tonnes), CIS countries – 21,8% (1.2 million tons). Weight the import volume was 15.8% (880,0 thousand tons), the weight of exports 84.2 per cent (4.7 million tons).
In foreign countries had 89.5% of foreign trade turnover (6.5 billion. USA), CIS – 10,5% (758,2 million. USA). Import amounted to 29.9% of foreign trade turnover (us $ 2.2 billion. USA), exports accounted for 70.1% of foreign trade turnover ($5.1 billion. USA).

United States (25.6% of foreign trade turnover), Germany – 797,2 million. USA (11%), United States – 536,2 million. USA (7,4%), Turkey – 337,1 million. USA (4,7%), Algeria – 324,6 million dollars. USA (4,5%), Uzbekistan – 317.0 million. USA (4.4 per cent), Kuwait – 281,3 million. USA (3.9 per cent), the Netherlands – 220,2 million. USA (3%).
The main exports in the 1st half of 2020 was made in China – $ 1.3 billion. USA (24,7% of total exports), USA – 455,2 million. USA (9%), Algeria – 324,5 million dollars. 61,6% of the total export volume in H1 2020 made up metals and products made of them, 19.4 per cent machines, equipment and means of transport, 10,6% – chemical products, 3% – mineral products, 2.7% wood, pulp and paper products, 1.4 per cent – food products and raw materials for their production.
Imports of goods share of machinery, equipment and vehicles is 59,6%, metals and products from them – is 13.5%, chemical industry products was 11.1%, mineral products – by 5.4%, textiles, textile products and footwear – 3,7%, food products – by 2.4%.
“In the region of the UTU decrease in the basic indicators of foreign trade turnover is connected, primarily, with a translation from the January 2020 Declaration of liquefied natural gas in the Central energy customs, and also with the introduction of restrictions to curb the spread of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19”, commented the head of Ural customs administration Alexei Frolov.
