Vyborg customs: destroyed half a ton of sanctioned goods

12 February 2020 in the Leningrad region produced by the procedure of destruction of goods prohibited for import into the customs territory of the Russian Federation.

In accordance with the order of destruction set forth by the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation of July 31, 2015 No. 774, destroyed 36 consignments with a total weight of 1,510 kilograms seized from individuals for import into Russia and accepted by goods for personal use. Destroyed goods constituted a finished dairy products (cheese, butter, yogurt), fish and meat products (sausages). Procedure for destruction was produced by burning in a high temperature furnace.

The destruction process took place in the presence of authorized officials of the Vyborg customs, the representative of Leningrad-the Finnish transport Prosecutor’s office, expert of the territorial Department of Rospotrebnadzor of the Vyborgsky district of the Leningrad region and disinterested persons. after the procedure, signed the Acts of the destruction of banned products.
