The head of the Ural Customs Directorate took part in the forum “Export Day in Kurgan”

Alexei Frolov made a presentation at an entrepreneurs’ forum in Kurgan. The head of the Ural Customs Directorate told representatives of the business environment about measures of state support for exporting enterprises, about privileges and preferences for business, about changes in logistics and transportation corridors

Exports of enterprises of the Kurgan region in 2023 amounted to almost 500 thousand tons with a total value of more than 180 million U.S. dollars. Compared to 2022, the growth in value terms is by 9%, in weight terms – by 78%. The main key partners are Kazakhstan, Belarus, China and Uzbekistan. The commodity structure of exports is dominated by food products, products of machine-building industry, metal structures, timber.

It is gratifying that Kurgan enterprises are able to make high-quality, competitive products that are in demand in foreign markets. Participants of foreign economic activity are increasing production rates, the turnover of goods is growing, foreign relations are strengthening, new opportunities for constructive cooperation are opening up,” said Alexei Frolov, Head of the Urals Customs Directorate
