Koltsovsky customs officers stopped a passenger on an Istanbul-Yekaterinburg flight in the “green corridor.” In the luggage of a 44-year-old man customs officers found more than a hundred types of women’s and children’s clothing: dresses, shirts, stoles, socks. The passenger told the inspectors that he was flying from Turkey to Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, and bought clothes at different markets in Istanbul, spending about 1,500 dollars

Without declaration you can move goods only for personal use. When we see an assortment of different goods and full size ranges in our luggage, it is obvious that it is not for personal use. Goods must be declared in accordance with the law and customs duties and taxes must be paid,” said Sergey Borovik, head of the customs post of Koltsovo Airport (passenger)

The passenger was drawn up a protocol on administrative offense, he faces a fine from half to twice the value of the goods. And after paying the fine, he will be able to collect the goods, having formalized them according to all the rules
