The resident of the Northern Capital was asked to present the goods for inspection. Among her personal belongings and a large amount of all sorts of political and historical literature, customs officers found two items similar to Nazi award crosses from 1939, a gas mask with gray metal inserts and two books with Nazi symbols, presumably extremist content.

Officers of the customs post Pulkovo Airport sent these goods for examination for further decision-making.

–The items found in the girl’s luggage are believed to have Nazi symbols. Experts will have to find out whether the books are included in the list of extremist materials and whether these things are prohibited to move across the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union, – explained Ruslan Akimenko, acting head of customs.
