The Tyumen Customs Service records an increase in cases of administrative offenses brought for violation of the procedure for submitting statistical reporting forms. This document is submitted by a resident of the Russian Federation to the customs authority when making a foreign trade transaction with the EAEU countries

So, in Q1 2024, 3957 statistical forms were submitted and registered with customs, which is 21% more than in the same period of 2023.

At the same time, 65 participants were charged with violating the procedure for submitting statistical reporting forms, which is 21% more than in the same period of 2023

At the same time, 65 participants of foreign economic activity after the implementation of transactions did not submit the required reporting in due time. As a result, Tyumen customs officers initiated 259 cases of administrative offenses under Article 19.7.13 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Russia. These were mostly organizations registered in the Kurgan region and in the south of the Tyumen region. 5 businessmen from Kurgan region violated the article for the second time and received punishment in the form of fines totaling 242 thousand rubles

But compared to Q1 2023 in 2024, the number of businessmen brought to justice decreased by 13%, but the number of cases of administrative offenses, on the contrary, increased by 1.2%

To avoid possible negative consequences, Tyumen Customs recommends that entrepreneurs planning and carrying out mutual trade with Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia familiarize themselves with the procedure for submitting the statistical form for the movement of goods. It is approved by the Government of the Russian Federation from 19.06.2020 № 891 “On the procedure for maintaining statistics of mutual trade in goods of the Russian Federation with the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union and invalidation of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 7, 2015 № 1329”
