Vladimir customs office opened a criminal case over nonpayment of more than 11 million rubles of customs payments at import of medical equipment

As a result quickly-search actions of Vladimir customs foiled a supply of high-tech medical equipment for the treatment of cancer, evasion of customs duties.

After a failed attempt customs Declaration expensive equipment without payment of customs payments in the Moscow region, representatives of large Russian supplier of equipment American tried to do this in the Vladimir customs. Thorough check of documents and examination became the basis for initiation of proceedings about an administrative offence and a criminal case under paragraph “g” of part 2 of article 194 of the RF criminal code “Evasion from payment of customs payments levied on organizations on an especially large scale” for a total amount of 11 million 461 thousand rubles. Investigative actions are carried out.

The results of the work of Vladimir customs also became an occasion to excitation of some criminal cases involving evasion of customs payments in the Moscow region — the place of the actual location of the organization.
