Personalized interaction between individuals and customs authorities

Samara customs will inform: the possibility to declare goods for personal use electronic. This can be done through “Personal Cabinet of the participant of foreign trade activities” on the official website of the FCS of Russia (www.customs.ru), using the service “Passenger Declaration”. The possibility of pre-filling of the passenger customs Declaration (PCD) in electronic form speeds up the process of submission of the PDD and the customs control at checkpoints.

To fill in the PDD in electronic form it is necessary to register in “Personal Cabinet of the participant of foreign trade activities” and choose among information services “Passenger Declaration”. No electronic signature is not an obstacle to use of the service.

After reviewing the order filling, PTD fill, save electronically and send to the automated system of customs authorities. After registration the PDD declarant (physical person who filled in the PDD) is sent a barcode and unique identification number (UIN). This room must inform the official of the customs authority.

Head of Department of customs procedures and customs control in the Samara customs Boranes Alexander: “I Want to draw attention to the fact that the validity of UIN PTD is 30 calendar days from the date of formation. If it is not presented to the customs authority within the period specified, the information in respect of which the UIN is formed from the information system of customs bodies are excluded.”
