Returning from vacation, Kemerovo tourist brought to his small home six corals. Samples are directed for carrying out of customs examination in the Central forensic customs administration of Novosibirsk. The violator faces a fine.
From the beginning of 2020, officials of the Kemerovo customs, established more than 30 violations of the customs legislation. So, in March of 2020 employees of the Kuzbass customs station identified in tourists returning from Thailand (Phuket), corals in the amount of six pieces. Permits for the importation of gifts of the sea protected by the Washington Convention CITES, the Kemerovo were absent. The corals were confiscated and handed over to the Central forensic customs administration of the Novosibirsk for carrying out of customs examination. Their value is established.
The Deputy chief of the Kuzbass customs office Vyacheslav Vlasov has told that from the beginning of 2020 is the fourth attempt of smuggling of coral Kemerovo tourists. For comparison, in 2019 these attempts was two. “The total number of violations this year has decreased significantly. Two and a half months – 34 of the case. While in 2019 during the same period, employees of the Kuzbass customs post of the Kemerovo customs was initiated 48 cases of administrative offences. Mostly cigarettes, alcohol, rhizomes of flower crops and corals,” – said Vyacheslav Vlasov.
Employees of the Kemerovo customs remind that on the basis of the Decision of the Council of the Eurasian economic Commission No. 107 of December 20, 2017, the import of potato seed and planting material is prohibited. Transported from abroad, plants and animals must be accompanied by special documents – sanitary, veterinary certificates. In their absence, violators face a fine of 1 500 to 2 500 rubles and confiscation of goods.
