Irkutsk Customs informs about peculiarities of statistical forms submission for sellers on marketplaces
Irkutsk Customs reminds sellers of marketplaces that send goods to buyers in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) of the need to submit statistical forms.
Entrepreneurs who have concluded transactions with counterparties of the EAEU member states through the Internet trading sites must submit statistical forms to the customs authority to record the movement of goods no later than the 10th working day of the month following the calendar month in which the goods were shipped or received.
The statistical form shall be filled out in the personal cabinet of a participant of foreign economic activity in the section «Statistical forms. With electronic signature» on the official website of the Federal Customs Service and is submitted in the form of an electronic document signed with an enhanced qualified electronic signature.
«In 2023, 16 Irkutsk sellers of goods on one of the well-known marketplaces submitted 20 statistical forms to the customs authorities in violation of the deadline and were brought to administrative responsibility under Article 19.7.13 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Russia. We recommend entrepreneurs not to be guided by the status «Delivered» and to submit statistical forms to the customs authorities for goods that have the status «Sent». If the goods or part of the goods will be returned by the buyer, the statistical form can be canceled, or canceled with the submission of a new statistical form containing reliable information», – noted Nadezhda Nedorezova, Deputy Head of Irkutsk Customs – Head of Service.
Irkutsk Customs also recommends participants of mutual trade of the Russian Federation with the EAEU member states to make sure that the goods (sold or purchased) are not subject to prohibitions, restrictions or permissive export procedures established by the Government of the Russian Federation when submitting statistical forms to the customs authorities.
