In the Tver customs remembered comrades

The Tver customs officers honored the memory of countrymen who died in Afghanistan and other local conflicts. The event was held on the eve of Day of memory of soldiers-internationalists. At the ceremony of laying flowers to the memorial was attended by children from the Youth Council of the Tver customs and veterans of the customs service.

The meeting was attended by Yuri Matveev. One of the periods of its labour activity is connected with the service in the Tver customs. Yuri Leonidovich spoke about studying in the Sverdlovsk higher military-political tank-artillery school, their participation in special training of soldiers in training tank regiment in the town of Tejen before they are sent to Afghanistan, the military mission in Chechnya.

Today in the Tver customs is serving six people – combatants, 20 veterans of the customs service in different years were the hot spots.
