The event was attended by chief of the Volga customs management Aasim Ushkalov, Nizhny Novgorod transport public Prosecutor Alexey Voroshilov, Deputy Governor, Deputy Chairman of the government of Nizhny Novgorod region, Dmitry Krasnov, head of the Nizhny Novgorod customs Yuri Lushnikov, Deputy Director General of the chamber of Commerce of Nizhny Novgorod region Valery Sazhin.
For 2019, the Nizhny Novgorod customs in the Federal budget lists 8 billion 535 million 470 thousand rubles, which is 101,91% of the planned target.
Import-export operations by filing the Declaration of goods (DT) in the Nizhny Novgorod customs in 2019 carried out 348 traders.
Foreign trade turnover according to operations amounted to 948,1 million dollars. United States (including exports – 400,6 million dollars. USA, import – 547,5 million. USA).
The main trade partners were the far abroad countries. Their share in the turnover amounted to 96.9%, including export – 93,5%, with the import and 99.4%.
The largest trading partners in exports were: Algeria (17%), Egypt (12.8 percent), China (11.3 per cent), India (11.2 per cent), Zambia (10.1 percent), Germany (9.2%).
The main part of exports: machinery, equipment and vehicles – 50,7%; wood and pulp and paper products – 14,3%; chemical products, rubber and 10.4%.
The largest trading partners in imports were: Italy (to 34.5%), China (18,5%), Germany (11.1 per cent), the Republic of Korea (9.1 per cent).
The main composition of imports: machinery, equipment and vehicles and 70.8%; chemical products, rubber – 20,2%.
Past 2019, the Nizhny Novgorod customs office opened 1674 cases on administrative offenses (AP). Of them: 1348 cases brought against legal entities, individuals – 326 cases of AP. In cases of AP in 2019, the penalty imposed in the amount of 898 million 406 thousand rubles.
The main offences were:
– violation of terms of providing of the statistical forms of the account of movement of goods;
– violation of currency legislation;
– failure to declare or false Declaration of goods;
– failure to observe the prohibitions and restrictions on importation or exportation of goods.
In 2019, the Nizhny Novgorod customs office opened 11 criminal cases:
– 5 cases under article 173.2 of the criminal code on the illegal use of documents for legal entity establishment;
– 2 case under article 193.1 of the criminal code on the facts of Commission of foreign exchange transactions using forged documents;
– 1 case under the article 193 of the criminal code on the fact of non-performance of duties for the repatriation of funds in the large size;
– 1 criminal case according to article 194 of the criminal code on the fact of evasion from payment of customs payments in the large size;
– 2 criminal case under article 226.1 of the criminal code on the facts of contraband of strategically important resources.
