In Bashkortostan, the customs officers found in a parcel from Kazakhstan banned substances

Bashkortostan customs has opened a criminal case on the fact of illegal movement of drugs.

Doubtful capsules customs officers found in international parcel, who arrived in Ufa from the Republic of Kazakhstan. The addressee was thirty-two year old resident of Bashkiria ordered on the Internet tool for weight loss “Lipotrim, 48 capsules”. Subsequent examination showed a potent substance sibutramine, weight 14,40 gr.

− Sibutramine, as well as all mixtures and solutions containing that substance, regardless of concentration, all dosage forms, whatever trade names they were designated, comprising the substance, in combination with a pharmacologically inactive components that are included in the list of drugs approved by the Decree of the RF Government of 29.12.2007, № 964 − says the investigator for particularly important cases of the Bashkortostan customs Artur Sabitov.

On the fact of illegal moving of drugs Bashkortostan customs has opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 226.1 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation. The sanction of article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for a term of three to seven years with a fine in the amount up to one million rubles.

Currently, the materials of the case and the withdrawn goods are transferred in investigating bodies of the Ministry of interior of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
