The Dagestani customs officers took part in a video conference on product labeling

Today, the officers of the customs control after release of goods and officials of the Department of the commodity nomenclature of origin and trade restrictions of the Dagestan customs service participated in a videoconference on the topic “Marking and traceability systems products is an effective method of counteracting the illegal turnover of industrial products in the Russian Federation” organized by the International Association of “Anticounterfeiting” and LLC “Center of development of advanced technologies” supported by the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation.

Recall that from 1 July 2020 mandatory labelling of footwear, drugs and tobacco products. This date not permitted the importation and trafficking on the territory of the Russian Federation of the specified products without labeling.

For the purposes of marking goods they plotted the means of identification (code). This code is unique and contains information about the quality characteristics of the goods.

Tobacco products and medicinal products subject to mandatory marking means of identification to its entry into circulation on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Shoe goods subject to mandatory labelling means the identification of Shoe products:

in the manufacture of Shoe goods outside the customs territory of the Eurasian economic Union prior to their placement under the customs procedure of release for domestic consumption or re-import;

when importing into the Russian Federation of footwear items purchased in the framework of cross-border trade in the customs territory of the Eurasian economic Union, – before crossing the state border of the Russian Federation.

For efficient customs control of movement of goods, for customs authorities regulate the right to verify the labeling of goods, declarants responsibility to specify information about the identity of the goods Declaration.

From 1 October 2020 there will be a mandatory labelling of perfumes and toilet waters, cameras and flashes. From November 1, 2020 introduces mandatory labeling of new tires.
