Bryansk customs officers stopped the illegal import of 40 tons of meat by-products from the Republic of Belarus
The mobile group of Bryansk customs stopped two trucks carrying 20 tons of frozen beef heads and 20 tons of meat by-products in Klintsovsky district of Bryansk region.
The drivers told the customs officers that they had stopped the illegal import of 40 tons of meat by-products from the Republic of Belarus
The drivers said that they were transporting goods on the territory of the Republic of Belarus. When asked by the customs inspector how they found themselves at night on a country road on the territory of the Russian Federation, the offenders could not give a clear answer
“The drivers did not have veterinary certificates, which could guarantee the safety and quality of products for consumers,” explained Pavel Kharitonov, acting deputy head of the Bryansk customs office
