Rostov customs officers in the port of Azov revealed undeclared fuel

In the course of control on a motor ship arriving from the port of Izmir (Turkey) to the port of Azov, Rostov Customs officers revealed a discrepancy between the actual amount of fuel and the amount declared by the carrier.

There were 2 tons more diesel fuel in the regular fuel tanks than was declared in the documents

A case on administrative offense was initiated against the carrier according to part 1 of article 16.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Failure to declare goods subject to customs declaration in the prescribed form”. This article provides punishment for legal entities in the form of a fine from one second to two times the value of goods (with or without confiscation)

Since the beginning of 2024, Rostov customs officers in the port of Azov revealed 35 tons of undeclared fuel worth about 2 million rubles.
