Vladimir Customs celebrates its 32nd anniversary

Vladimir Customs was established on April 20, 1992. Today it is a customs office of actual control, working in close connection with electronic declaration centers, checking accompanying documents online. At customs posts are carried out inspections of cargoes, control of goods in transit. The region of operation is the Vladimir, Ivanovo, Yaroslavl and Kostroma regions
The day of formation Vladimir Customs met with worthy results of work. The amount of customs payments transferred to the federal budget in the first quarter of 2024 amounted to 95 million rubles. As a result of customs control after the release of goods additionally recovered 785 million rubles. In the course of inspections in the domestic market, 21.5 thousand packs of tobacco products without labeling and with violations of labeling rules were detected, some of them – counterfeit. In general, since the beginning of the year, customs officers have detected more than 14 thousand units of counterfeit products (tobacco products, clothes, shoes, bags, glasses)
The fight against violations of customs legislation and crimes in the customs sphere is underway. Since the beginning of the year, 532 cases on administrative offenses (violations of reporting deadlines, violations of currency legislation, failure to provide information, etc.) were initiated. A criminal case was opened on the fact of timber smuggling committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy (item “c” of part 2 of article 226.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)
