Customs officers in the Tver region have replenished the federal budget by 320 million rubles based on the results of post-control

Service units of the Smolensk Customs Service in the Tver region (hereinafter – services) additionally charged 314.4 million rubles of customs payments, penalties and fines for 2023 based on the results of control after the release of goods. In fact, during this period, 320.3 million rubles were recovered from the budget
In 2023, 59 inspections were carried out within the framework of post-control, and 24 cases on administrative offenses and one criminal case were initiated in connection with the understatement of the customs value of goods by a Tver firm for more than 25 million rubles.
To suppress the illegal trafficking of tobacco and alcoholic beverages in the region, officials of the Service’s inspection department conducted 6 inspections during the period. 13,800 packs of tobacco products and 188 unlabeled bottles of alcoholic beverages were seized and handed over to the police.
