Altai customs officers have returned to Kazakhstan more than 3 300 tons of goods
Almost 3,200 vehicles with a cargo weighing about 100 tons 53 was checked mobile groups of the Altai customs since the beginning of the year 2020 in the border area with the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The results of this work back to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan returned 3 354 tons of different products. Among the returned products were fruit, vegetables, honey, dried fruits, bees, household goods, paints, spare parts to agricultural machinery, food, consumer goods and other goods, the country of origin to which the Republic of Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, including of unknown origin.
Reasons for return were the lack of relevant documents required for goods imported to the territory of the Russian Federation.
Mobile group is empowered to stop a vehicle in order to verify compliance with international treaties and acts in the sphere of customs regulation and the legislation of the Russian Federation by checking of goods and documents on them.
From the beginning of 2020, officials of the mobile groups of the Altai customs office has opened 18 cases of administrative offenses under part 2 of article 12.25 KoAP of the Russian Federation on the facts of failure to execute legal requirements of the customs officer to stop the vehicle. The violators penalized.
The mobile groups carried out round-the-clock in close cooperation with the Supervisory authorities of the Altai territory – Boundary management of FSB of Russia for the Altai territory, the territorial bodies of Rosselkhoznadzor, Rospotrebnadzor, state road supervision of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia.
