Illegal transfer of jewelry was identified by employees of the Pskov customs

43 jewellery items from precious metals identified in the illicit movement of citizen of the Russian Federation travelling in a passenger bus “Riga – Saint-Petersburg”. The market value of bracelets, rings and other jewelry made more than 1 million 300 thousand rubles.

Smuggling of strategically important goods in the large size prevented employees of the Pskov customs in collaboration with the Department of the FSB of Russia in the Pskov region at the customs post MAPP of Shumilkino on the Russian-Estonian border.

By results of the conducted verification activities of the Pskov customs brought criminal case on signs of the crime provided by part 1 of article 226.1 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation (smuggling of strategically important goods in the large size).
