Bryansk customs officers stopped the import of Spanish oranges

Bryansk customs officers at the seat of the stationary control point weighting “Red Stone” (near the town of Novozybkov of the Bryansk region) was stopped two trucks, in which instead of the peat was carrying more than 20 tonnes of Spanish oranges.

According to the documents of the car were transported peat, but in the course of customs control in the cargo compartment was discovered oranges. The labels on the boxes indicated that the country of origin of fruit: Spain. Belarusian drivers are explained, followed from Vitebsk to Minsk, but lost, came in Bryansk oblast.

Spain is among the countries, from which importation of certain goods on the territory of Russia is prohibited within the response to the imposition of sanctions, therefore, oranges are withdrawn, – said the head of the Department for control over the importation and trafficking of goods Vladyslav Barabanov. – The issue of attracting carriers – violators to administrative responsibility under article 16.3 of the administrative code (violation of the prohibitions and restrictions when goods are imported) and the destruction of the sanctions.
