17 per cent increase in turnover in the region of the North-Caucasus customs Department
Foreign trade turnover of the customs of the North Caucasus Federal district from 1 January to 31 March, compared with the same period last year, increased by more than 17%, while exports showed an increase of 15%, and imports by 20%.
676 million dollars – the total value of declared goods in the region of the North-Caucasian customs Department for the first three months of 2020. Azerbaijan, China, United Arab Emirates and the Czech Republic have become major trading partners of companies in the region of the North-Caucasian customs Department. The share of these countries in total trade turnover amounted to 65% of the total value.
A manifold increase in exports to the United Arab Emirates and the Czech Republic is associated with the re-export of Russian airlines for maintenance. Earlier in the region the activities of the office such supplies were very isolated. Thus, aircraft and their parts occupy a leading position in the region’s exports, followed by cereals, fertilizers, meat and edible offal, and organic chemicals.
With regard to the import of goods – has increased the number of deliveries of agricultural products from Azerbaijan. The reduction in the import of products from Georgia to declining demand on the domestic Russian market for mineral water and carbonated drinks. The basis of imports in the region of the North-Caucasian customs Department in the first three months 2020 mainly consists of vegetables and some vegetables, fruits and nuts.
