Dagestan customs officers found 69 kilograms of medicines in the luggage of a 26-year-old Russian who flew in from Istanbul. The man was stopped on the “green” corridor at Makhachkala airport. The event was carried out jointly with employees of the Border Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Republic of Dagestan.
The inspectors scanned three suitcases of the young man and found a large number of Turkish-made medicines, including medicines for headaches, colds, allergies and other ailments
The volume of imported products indicates that these are not goods for personal use, but a commercial shipment. In such a case, the drugs are subject to mandatory declaration with payment of customs duties.
