“We become silent, looking in heavens.” North Caucasian customs officers honored the memory of heroes of the great Patriotic war

May 8, 2020 at the Memorial Eternal Fire of glory in the city of Mineral Water officials in the North Caucasus customs administration and its subordinate agencies honored the memory of heroes who sacrificed their lives for the Victory in the great Patriotic war.

For the first time in many years, may 9 will be held without a large-scale celebrations throughout the country: people do not walk in parades through the main streets of cities, will not participate in the celebrations. But most importantly, everyone keep in their hearts the memory of the great event in our history. North Caucasian customs officers could not leave without attention such an important event. Representatives of the office and subordinate customs offices on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war came to the Fire of Eternal glory. Each customs cherishes the memory not only of the heroism of their ancestors, but also all Soviet people.

May 8 in the Office was marked by another important event. To take the oath on the eve of Victory Day – a great honor. Swore that they would faithfully execute his duties the captain of customs service Igor Demarchi (head of information technology services) and the senior ensign of customs service Vladimir Smelov (Junior inspector-operational driver of the Department to control the importation and trafficking of goods from customs control after release of goods).

During the solemn event, the head of the North-Caucasian customs Department albert Mavlikov and congratulated the officials who took the oath and all my colleagues on the Victory Day:

Dear colleagues!
I congratulate you on the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war!
On this day we pay tribute to those who had been defeated in the struggle for freedom and independence of the Motherland. The history of the country is inherited. Memories from grandparents to grandchildren, from the stories in my heart. Memory lives in each of us, the medals on his chest heroes in yellowed photographs, a quiet pride in the knowledge of our shared history. Until we forget until we know and thank war veterans for their courage – our country and the whole world too, will remember that.
On this day I want to wish you good health and well-being, warmth and caring about each other, support and understanding!
Peace, happiness and goodness to You, Your family and friends! With victory Day!
