Two multilateral automobile checkpoints on the Russian-Finnish border resumed operations
Since midnight on December 14, traffic has resumed through IACP Torfyanovka (Leningrad Region) and IACP Vyartsilya (Republic of Karelia).
On the night from Wednesday to Thursday the Finnish side lifted restrictions on work and opened passenger and cargo traffic through the checkpoints of Vaalimaa (adjacent checkpoint on the Russian side – IACP Torfyanovka of Vyborg Customs) and Niirala (IACP Vyartsilya of Karelia Customs).
From midnight to 8 a.m. on December 14, 24 trucks (7 – entered the Russian Federation, 17 departed –), 190 cars (136 and 54 respectively), 3 buses (1 – entered the Russian Federation, 2 departed –), 348 individuals (250 and 98 respectively) passed through IACP Torfyanovka in both directions.
Customs checkpoints IACP Torfyanovka of Vyborg Customs and IACP Vyartsilya of Karelian Customs operate in normal mode.
Work schedule:
IACP Torfyanovka – round the clock;
IACP Vyartsilya – daily from 09:00 to 21:00.
