The fact of plunder from the Federal budget of 2,5 million roubles has revealed the Ural customs officers

The theft of large sums in the performance of a government contract revealed officers corruption of the Ural customs office together with the FSB in the Sverdlovsk region. In 2019, the Urals customs Directorate has concluded the state contract with the Chelyabinsk firm for equipping a new facility of customs infrastructure, “the integrated security system and structured cabling system premises”. The contract value amounted to 27.4 million rubles.

On the revealed facts of the Ural investigative management on transport of investigatory Committee of Russia initiated two criminal case on signs of structure of the crime provided by part 4 of article 159 of the criminal code and on the grounds of article 290 of the criminal code.

“This is the most significant criminal cases on materials of service of combating corruption in the year 2020. Brought before 2019 criminal cases, the courts handed down convictions. The total amount of fines of the defendants amounted to 2.8 million rubles,” – said the head of Ural customs Board of the Republic of Tatarstan.
