The Arkhangelsk customs: customs checks of vehicles together with the traffic police

The Arkhangelsk customs in cooperation with the Office of traffic police in the Arkhangelsk region there are ongoing activities to identify the facts of failure to remove foreign nationals temporarily imported vehicles.

The term of temporary import of vehicles by foreign citizens indicated in the passenger customs Declaration submitted the physical person to the customs authority at the checkpoint when crossing the border, and is one year from the date of entry into the customs territory of the EAEU with exemption from customs payments in accordance with article 264 of the Customs code of the Eurasian economic Union (EAEU CC).

In the case when the vehicle is exported from the territory of the EEU after the expiration of the maximum period of temporary importation, and in case of failure to export, legislation of the Russian Federation provides for administrative liability (article 16.18, 16.24 code of the Russian Federation about administrative offences. Evasion from payment of customs duties may entail criminal liability.

The Arkhangelsk customs Office of the traffic police in the Arkhangelsk region communications containing information about possible violations of the procedure of temporary importation of means of transport held working meetings and joint activities: check the locations of clusters of vehicles of international transport (disassembly, Parking, car services, car markets, etc.).
